In order to ensure the safety of Electric Overhead Crane electrical equipment and operators, should set safety switches:
1. The main disconnector. This switch has a clear disconnect point, so the maintenance personnel can clearly determine whether the circuit is disconnected. Only after the power is cut off, the maintenance personnel can repair and check the electrical equipment.
2. Total power supply short circuit protection, when the Electric Overhead Crane appear short circuit, insulation damage, etc., short circuit protection switch can immediately cut off the power.
3. Zero protection. If the control arm is not at zero position, when the circuit restore, the circuit will start and may cause accident. The zero protection can keep the control arm at zero position.
4. Motor overload protection. If the Electric Overhead Crane motor power is larger than 1KW, should set overload switch.
5. Emergency power switch. In the event of an emergency, the Electric Overhead Crane driver can quickly switch off the power through the emergency switch, and the emergency power switch can not be automatically reset.
6. Total power supply voltage protection. After the power supply system is disconnected, the main power supply can be cut off automatically. After resuming power supply, need to connect the power manually.
