1. Structurally difference
Generally, the single girder bridge cranes have relatively simple structure and are light weight, installation, routine maintenance, and assembly and disassembly are all relatively simple. However, double girder bridge cranes are relatively complex in structure and have large dead weight, and are relatively complicated in installation, daily maintenance, and maintenance.
2. Different production costs
Single girder bridge cranes are usually shorter in span and consume less construction material, so the costs are lower. The double girder bridge cranes usually have larger span, more consumables cost and higher technical, so the production costs are higher.
3. Different operating methods
In terms of operation, single girder bridge cranes are generally operated on the ground and can be operated by two methods: handle and remote control. The double girder bridge cranes require workers to control the operation in driver cabin.
4. Mechanical properties
In terms of mechanical properties, single girder bridge cranes have relatively low stability, relatively small rated lifting capacity, and relatively low working level. Double girder bridge cranes have relatively high stability, large rated lifting capacity and relatively high working level.
5. Different operating environment
General single girder bridge cranes are suitable for work sites with short span, relatively light lifting capacity, and relatively small construction site space. Double girder bridge cranes are suitable for sites with long spans, relatively heavy lifting capacity, and wide construction site space.
